Metaverse Research Consulting is a consulting identity of Dr Andres Guadamuz. He is a Senior Lecturer in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Sussex and an international consultant for the World Intellectual Property Organization. Before joining Sussex, he lived in Costa Rica and France, where he was a consultant with Costa Rican software firm Innova Technology. His main research areas are open licensing, software protection, digital copyright, and complexity in networks. Andres has published two books, the most recent one of which is “Networks, Complexity and Internet Regulation” with the British publisher Edward Elgar, and he regularly blogs at Technollama.co.uk. Since 2005, he has been involved with Creative Commons Scotland (while lecturer at University of Edinburgh and Associate Director of the SCRIPT Centre), Costa Rica and now the UK. Before joining Sussex, he lived in Costa Rica and France, where he was a consultant with Costa Rican software firm Innova Technology.
